This trip has been curated to show you the different facets of Ghana from Accra to Kumasi, Cape Coast, and more. The purpose of this trip is to pay homage and honor to the ancestors.
We will be going on a journey to heal from the suffering and wounds we carry which was handed down through generations. We will also have fun and explore Ghana and everything it has to offer.

This return to the motherland trip has been perfectly curated to offer you the best of Ghana in 10 days.
We will mingle with the locals while experiencing some of the fancier sides of Accra. We will fly to Kumasi to experience and learn more about Kente and we will bask in shea butter as we visit a traditional Ghanaian Spa.
Aside from the welcome dinners, the fun nightlife, we will visit some amazing places and make great memories.

Today is an arrival day. As Ghana is across the world, not much will be happening today as we will all be arriving at different times.
At some point, a seamstress/tailor will come to take measurements for a custom made outfit for those who want it. (shall be received at the end of the trip)
In the evening you will enjoy the nightlife in Accra at a small private welcome outdoor restaurant in the city.
Today is all about Accra as we go through a city tour. We will stop by the W.E.B. Dubois Center, Kwame Nkrumah Museum, Black Star Square, of course not forgetting the Art Center and more. After lunch, we will visit the Jamestown Community. We have a lot in store for you.
In the evening prepare for a fabulous evening of live band music. We will head to the Afrikiko Leisure center for dinner and some fun time.
Today is a relaxation/adventure day as we go outside of Accra for a day at Ada Foah at Aqua Safari to enjoy the water and good food and good ambiance.
After lunch, you will enjoy a boat trip to the Mangroves and Island to explore and see the day to day life of the local people.
Once we get back to Accra the evening is yours to rest, explore as you please.
Today we have a very early day as we are headed to Cape Coast for a walk in our ancestor's shoes Upon arrival we embark on a tour of the infamous Forts.
Later we will visit the town of Elmina, see the harbor and colorful fishing canoes.
In the evening prepare for dinner at our hotel and entertainment by local cultural performances.

This morning we will visit Kakum National Park one of Ghana's most famous parks in Ghana. It is the only aerial walkway through the treetops.
We will continue to Esi's Kitchen for a cooking class as we learn Ghanaian cooking techniques while we make the famous Jollof-Rice.
In the evening we will go through "Fihankra" which is a ceremony that reconnects people of African descent back to the motherland. The ceremony will end with a naming ceremony.

After breakfast, we are headed to Kumasi but first, we will stop at Assin Manso which is the burial site of two former slaves from the US and Jamaica.
You will see "Slave River". Upon arrival at Kumasi, we will have lunch and start the visit of the land of Kente; there we will visit Bonwire Village and learn how Kente is weaved and weave for ourselves.

After breakfast, we will set out for Accra and on the way, we will visit: the village of Adanwomase to explore the famous Kente cloth.
We will also stop by Boti Falls to experience a beautiful twin waterfall and later head over to Aburi Botanical Gardens as we keep going to Accra.
In the evening we will make our way back to Accra and the evening is yours to do as you please.
Today is a practically free day, in the morning you have the option of going to a Traditional Ghanaian Spa for an Ultimate Spa Experience (Hamamat Village) or sleep in, go out, be free.
In the evening we will explore Accra's nightlife.
Today is beach day at Labadie Beach. If you do not want to go you do not have too, you may use the day as a free day to get your last-minute shopping done and such.
In the evening we will enjoy a stunning farewell dinner with Chef Binta. This promises to be a unique experience of exploring the beautiful Fulani Culture.
Today is our last day together at breakfast before going home.
