Do I need a Visa?


Most countries don't require a visa for US Citizens visiting for less than 30 days but always double check with the country in question's embassy website.




What happends to my deposit if I can no longer attend the trip?


Note that deposits made within 24 hours of cancellation will be refunded. Cancellations made after 24 hours will be subjected to our refund policy above.




Are the prices per person or per room?


Prices are per person in a double-occupancy room. For a fee you can opt for a single occupancy room.




What if I don't want a roommate?


We understand that some people are not comfortable sharing a room with a stranger, and therefore for an additional fee, we can provide you with a room for yourself.




What Insurance is REQUIRED?


Travel medical insurance is required. For travel medical insurance, our minimum insurance policy coverage for medical emergency evacuation and repatriation is USD $100,000 (or equivalent in other currencies). We will verify that all travelers have such insurance in place and coverage as per the requirements listed above.insu We recommend the Insuremytrip where you will find a variety travel insurance options. You have the choice to use any travel insurance provider you'd like, as long as you send us proof of insurance at least one month before the scheduled departure. Failure to provide accurate proof of insurance prior to attending our trips will result in cancellation.




What insurance is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED?


Due to the involved logistics, we do not offer refunds, therefore we strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive cancel for any reason insurance. By having comprehensive cancel for any reason insurance, you won't need to worry about emergencies that can happen before or during your experience. COMPREHENSIVE CANCEL FOR ANY REASON INSURANCE MAY ONLY BE AVAILABLE TO CITIZENS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA AND CANADA. CITIZENS OF OTHER COUNTRIES MAY NOT BE ABLE TO RECOVER THE COSTS OF THEIR EXPERIENCE IF THEY HAVE TO CANCEL AFTER PURCHASING.




Is Airfare Included?


You are responsible for booking your own flight to your destination from the start/end cities. Although airfare is not included, our packages do include transportation while on the trip for included activities, accomodations, most meals, all activities on itinerary and more. Flights are not included for 2 reasons: Flexibility: Let us say you want to extend your trip by a few days or weeks before the trip begins or stay longer after it ends. Choice: We want the choice to be yours, whether you choose to browse the internet for the lowest fair or even want to fly first class, the option is yours. Not including flights with fixed arrival and departure day and time, you have the option to do it your way. We will let you know the start and end date of your trip making it easy to book your flights when you want to.




What if I can't find anyone to go with?


You will have the chance to explore a new piece of land with other people with similar interest and a passion for travel. After your trip you will have a new list of frirends.




What if I want to explore on my own?


Each trip is designed with the traveler in mind and we know each one of you have your own bucket list. That is why each trip has built-in free time.




Do trip itineraries ever change?


Yes. While we try to stay as close to the schedule as possible, there are things we cannot control. With that said, everything on the trip is subject to change due to weather and local factors. à minor changes




Cancellation by Stella Travel


S.T. will not cancel a booking on any tour Trip once confirmed, in accordance with these Terms, except for reasons of ‘Force Majeure’, which will be defined as unusual or unforeseen circumstances outside of the reasonable control of S.T. When a tour is cancelled by S.T. before the agreed date of departure for reasons not arising from the fault or negligence of or within the reasonable control of the Client, the Client will have the choice of:

(1.) Accepting from S.T. a substitute tour Trip of equivalent or superior value, where such substitute is reasonably available;

(2.) Accepting from S.T. a substitute tour of lower value if no tour of equivalent or superior value is reasonably available, and to recover from S.T. the difference in price; or

(3.) Accept from S.T. a full refund of all monies paid for the cancelled tour Trip(s).

S.T. is not responsible for any incidental expenses or consequential losses that the Client may have incurred as a result of the cancelled booking such as visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights or rail, non-refundable car parking or other fees, loss of earnings, or loss of enjoyment, etc. S.T. reserves the right to issue a full refund in lieu of the choices above, in its sole discretion. Where, after departure, a significant element as described cannot be provided, S.T. will make suitable alternative arrangements for the continuation of the trip. If it is not possible to provide a suitable alternative or the Client reasonably rejects any suitable alternatives, S.T. will provide the Client a refund of unused Trips.




What health and safety measures are there in place for 2021 trips?


In order to keep everyone safe we have implemented a few things: 1. A NEGATIVE COVID-19 TEST IS REQUIRED FOR ALL 2021 TRIPS WITHIN 72 OF ARRIVAL TO DESTINATION 2. FACE MASK WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ALL GROUP ACTIVITIES AND CAR RIDES 3. HAND SANITIZERS AND FACE MASK WLILL BE PROVIDED TO ALL AT THE BEGGINING OF THE TRIP AS PART OF OUR WELCOME SOUVENIR S.T. BAG 4. HAND SANITIZERS WILL BE AVALBLE DURING ALL TOURS




Refund Policy


Life is unpredictable and things happen that are outside of our control. In light of this pandemic and keeping everyone safe we have added some flexibility to our refund/cancelation policy: 1. Any trips cancelled within 24 hours of booking will be able to receive a full refund. 2. Trips cancelled within 3 months of departure date can receive a full refund minus the deposit. 3. Trips cancelled within 2 month of departure can be refunded 50% of all funds paid. 3. Trips cancelled within 1 month of departure can be refunded 25% of all funds paid 4. Trips cancelled less than a month is not refundable. 5. Any 2021 trips cancelled by Stella Travel will be 100% refunded or can be used towards another trip. We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive cancel for any reason (CFAR) insurance. By having comprehensive cancel for any reason insurance, you won't need to worry about emergencies that can happen before or during your experience.
