Welcome to Zanzibar!
Arrive at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport where you will be met by a Stella Travel driver.
You will be taken to the hotel in order to relax and settle in. Please arrive no later than 2:30 PM (local time) in order to partake in welcoming activities.
In the evening we will head out for some traditional Zanzibar food on a rooftop overlooking Stone Town.
Stone Town/Safari Blue
After breakfast, we will kick off our trip with a Safari Blue Tour on a Private Yacht. It is the most talked activity in Zanzibar. We will spend the day sailing, eating, sunbathing, exploring, feasting, observing, playing, and more. We will have a chance to spot dolphins, snorkel, and have a blast.
After dinner (with a break at the hotel) prepare yourself to go out and explore the nightlife of Stone Town.
After breakfast, we will head for a walking tour of Stone Town. It is one of the oldest Swahili towns in East Africa. Stone Town was established by Arab slave and spice traders in the early 19th century.
Since Zanzibar is known as Spice Island, today we are also going on a Spice Plantation Walk in order to learn and taste the different spices they grow here. Nowadays, spices aren't the main source of income, but they remain a big part of what makes Zanzibar the country that it is. After our walk, we will enjoy a traditional Swahili dish.
In the evening we are headed to Forodhani Gardens. It is a park that transforms into an open-air food market. It is the perfect time to mingle with the locals, make some new friends, and try some new food.
As it is our last day in Stone Town, we are having a Zanzibar Beauty Experience. Wewill blend fresh spices into an aromatic scrub that will refresh, rejuvenate, and relax. We will also be introduced to the art of henna and adorned with a motif of our choice. Then we shall let ourselves be pampered with a one-hour beauty treatment and the soothing sounds of discreet Zanzibari Taarab music.
Today will also be the day we get to purchase our last minute souvenirs and trinkets before moving on to a different part of Zanzibar.
In the late afternoon, we will head towards Michamvi where we will have the hotel to ourselves for 2 nights. That evening is about settling, relaxing, and enjoying the surroundings.
PS: hotels in this area are boutique hotels, meaning you will have to share your bed with whomever you are rooming with (unless you have the single occupancy) for only 2 nights.
Today we are headed for lunch at the famous Rock Restaurant. This restaurant has been referred to as the floating restaurant. When the tide is high you can ride a boat to it and when the tide is low you can walk across the rocks to it.
After lunch, we will head to a facility to get our Covid-19 test done in order to have our papers ready for the trip back home.
In the evening we will have a private themed party at our villa, with a private DJ; it will be a chance to let loose, have fun and enjoy our time together.
After breakfast, we will drive up north of Zanzibar to Nungwi for the rest of our trip. Nungwi is a village known for its beautiful beaches.
Take the rest of the afternoon to enjoy the beautiful hotel we will be staying at, the beach, etc...
In the evening we will head out for some nighttime fun in Nungwi.
Today is a completely free day to sleep in, enjoy Nungwi, or do any optional excursions we did not do.
In the evening we will gather up for a farewell dinner as our last meal before heading back home.
Home Sweet Home!
Enjoy a last breakfast at the hotel before transferring to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport!
